Why Me? The Purpose Of Pain And Suffering – Webinar

Sat, July 29, 2023 (11:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Online

Description

This webinar will explore why Allah puts us through trials and tribulations, why we suffer in this life and face such hardships.

Why does Allah put us through trials and tribulations? Why do I have to suffer? Do these questions sound familiar to you?

Pain and suffering often leave a person to question faith and existence. Ask yourself, if the world was without pain and suffering, what kind of a world would it be? In Islam, there is great wisdom behind every challenge every individual has to face.

Throughout the Qur’an, Allah teaches us about some of the most amazing individuals (Prophets) and how He tested their limits of endurance, put them through trials and tribulations, and made them suffer through loss and heartbreak, not to tell historical stories for us to enjoy but for us to learn from as practical examples, that strengthen our imaan and to help us build a clear perspective.

Join Islamic Help and Dr Hafiz Ather to understand why human beings experience so much pain and suffering. Learn from the lives of the Prophets and recognise potential outcomes from these challenges in life.

A brief outline of topics covered:

  • The wisdom behind pain and suffering
  • Making Life Meaningful
  • Collecting for the hereafter
  • Creating human excellence
