The Annual Children’s Mawlid Event Birmingham 2023

Alhamdullilah, it’s that time again:)

This year we have worked tirelessly to insha’Allah make The Annual Children’s Mawlid Event just as memorable as the last.

The event this year has been catered for children 3-12 years of age and each child MUST be registered to secure their places. Every year tickets are sold out so we cannot stress how important it is to register early to avoid any disappoinment. If you miss out then register your details on our waiting list but please note, this does not guarantee you a place and there maybe a small charge for tickets.

Upon registration we will add your number to our special whatsapp group or broadcast list where we will instruct, inform and remind you of everything you will need to know leading up to the day of the event.

Phewy! Now onto the fun stuff;)…

This year we have introduced more prizes and more varieties for the raffle and to give each child that is registered for this event a better chance of winning, we will give them THREE FREE raffle tickets… That means you get not one, not two but THREE possible chances of winning one of our carefully selected prizes!

Oh, and we’re not done just yet:)…

We have also brought back, by popular demand, our famous Tug Of War which, If won by the ‘chosen’ children, it will give EVERY child who has registered for this event, the chance to win a FREE GIFT BOX each!!!

How will we select the ‘chosen’ children for the famous Tug Of War?? Easy!… The ones who have recited the most Salawats upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ will be carefully shortlisted from each age range to make it all fair. Each child will have up until Friday 6th October to recite, record and submit the total number of salawats  that they have read. The children that will be selected for the Tug Of War will also be rewarded with a special treat for their amazing effort.

During this event we will have a break in which you and your family will be welcomed to our trusty bake sale. Here you will be able to purchase our yummy cakes, cupcakes, burgers, biryanis and more! Prices will be available on the whatsapp group more closer to the date. Please remember that all the proceeds from our bake sale and any generous donations recieved will be reinvested back into the following years event so please support us. Buy and donate generously so we can continue our services for our youth and the community and make each year just as memorable as the last insha’Allah:)

INTENTIONS

Insha’Allah our main intentions for this event are:

– to create and provide positive and memorable experiences for the youth in the house of Allah (masjid)

– to make our children excited about and love coming to the house of Allah

– to entertain and educate, fostering a sense of love in our children’s hearts in loving the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and nurturing their spiritual growth in doing so

– to promote and encourage our children from a young age to recite salawat upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

– to break down barriers and create opportunities like this for children from all walks of life and to make it as affordable as possible for their hardworking parents/guardians

– to make our youth feel appreciated and honour them with opportunities to receive gifts that are brought, wrapped and given with love

– to create and provide opportunities for children and adults with sincere and big hearts to volunteer in the house of Allah and be part of something great and rewarding

– to encourage adults, who are in a position to give, to help support us financially and physically where they can so we can continue to grow and create these amazing opportunities and experiences for our youth and community.

– to please and to carry out all our duties for the sake of Allah alone
