Hello from Dublin! Join for a special event hosted from the Chester Beatty museum, is a national cultural institution located in Dublin, in the Republic of Ireland.
Chester Beatty holds over 25,000 objects from across Asia, Africa and Europe, centring on the arts of the book. This includes wonderful collections from the Islamic world, which feature in two of our permanent galleries.
Dr Moya Carey will introduce the current displays in the Chester Beatty’s Sacred Traditions gallery, from Cairo Qur’an scrolls to an Istanbul qibla-finder.
