Reverts’ Iftar Gatherings 2024
We are thrilled to announce a series of Reverts’ Iftar Gatherings throughout the holy month of Ramadan. These will take place every Saturday throughout the month as follows: 16th March, 23rd March, 30th March, and 6th April, at As-Suffa Institute, 156 High Street, Aston, Birmingham.
The iftar events are primarily aimed at welcoming, supporting, and celebrating the journey of new Muslims in our community. Whether you are a revert, curious about Islam, or simply wish to support these iftars, all are welcome to a warm and inclusive space to break your fast.
Each event will begin at 5pm. The evening will commence with a chance to speak with other reverts, followed by a communal iftar where we will share a delicious meal. The gatherings aim to foster a sense of belonging and to provide spiritual and social support for reverts, who may be experiencing their first Ramadan, or seeking deeper connections within the Muslim community. It’s a chance to ask questions, share experiences, and grow together.
In addition to the iftar, each gathering will feature an inspirational reminder and discussions designed to enrich your Ramadan experience and Islamic knowledge. These sessions will be led by knowledgeable members of the Institute who are keen and eager to support your journey.
Please register to ensure we can accommodate everyone who wishes to join.
For those new to Islam or are considering embracing the faith, these iftars are a perfect opportunity to connect with others who have embarked on a similar journey. Let’s come together to reflect, celebrate, and learn this Ramadan.
All are welcome.
May Allah bless your Ramadan, and give you and us, the opportunity to experience many more.
