Muslim Hikers: Cave Dale

Join Muslim Hikers for an unforgettable trek through the scenic Cave Dale in the heart of the Peak District! Discover a landscape that inspires, challenges, and invigorates, all while being a part of a friendly and supportive community.

The Cave Dale circuit offers breathtaking views of limestone formations, pastoral fields, and quaint villages.

This is a fantastic chance to meet likeminded hikers & adventurers from across the country and enjoy a scenic social trek as part of a professionally organised event with qualified mountain guides.

All are welcome regardless of religious background or ability. Whether you’re a seasoned mountaineer or a first time walker, we invite you to join.

Time: Meet 08:30, Trek starts 09:30

Location: Castleton Visitors Centre

Car Parking: Castleton Visitor Centre, Buxton Rd, Castleton S33 8WN

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY – (Car parking may be limited so it’s important to arrive on time to find alternative parking if needed)

Walk distance/Duration:

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate – come prepared for a hike with some incline. As always, being physically trained will help you enjoy the experience more.

The route is approximately 10 km and it is expected to take the group 5/6 hours to complete at a casual pace.

After a short briefing, we shall start the trek at 9.30am sharp.

You should expect to complete the hike by 4pm

KIT LISTHiking boots with ankle support recommended, rucksack, waterproof jacket & trousers, extra layers, water bottle & packed lunch. You will be sent a full kit list via email.

YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:– A guided hike, led by professional mountain guides

– Stewardship from Muslim Hikers – we are here to offer support and advice before, during and after your event.

– Dedicated Event Whatsapp group to network and for getting help with transport (link will be in your Eventbrite confirmation email)

OTHER NOTES

– Tickets are non transferable and non refundable

– Please note professional photography & videography may be in place. Content may be shared by ourselves and third parties for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know on the day of the trek.
