The session:

A beginner introduction session for 45 minutes and you will have time afterwards to practice what you have learnt

Date: 9th September

Arrival: 6:00pm

Beginner session: 6:15pm – 7pm

Climb independently: 7pm -9pm

Cost: Free coaching and entry (We are charging a nominal fee to cover admin and no shows)

Equipment: Shoe hire is free

Rise Climbing Wall, Unit 6, Caxton Works, Hoy St, London E16 1ZA

If coming from Canning Town station please take the exit for the bus station

What to expect:

There will be  climbing coaches supporting the coaching session. (We will try to have all female coaches, however if that is not possible there will be a male coach)

Booking:

1) Sign up to the beginner course

1) Select your street shoe size

There are things that you need to do before you attend the session:

1) Fill in the registration form and sign the waiver click here before you arrive

Clothing:

• Please come dressed in gym/workout clothing
• jilbab/ abaya’s need to be at a suitable length so your foot does not get caught whilst climbing!
• Please do not wear any rings as that can cause injury. Please be mindful of the jewellery you wear
• There are changing areas available

Things to bring along:

• Water bottles (Please keep this away from the climbing area as this can cause injuries)
• Padlock for the lockers

Things to note:

• • There will be male staff members working at the front desk
  • CCTV will be in operation for safety reasons
  • Music will be playing but will be switched off to accommodate anyone who would like to pray
  • Group pictures and individual pictures will be taken – it is your responsibility to let ClimbMuz know if you do not feel comfortable.
  • Your valuables are your responsibility and ClimbMuz and Rise Climbing do not take any personal responsibility for things that go missing.
  • You are responsible for your own safety
