Hornchurch Country Park Trail for Muslims

Come join on ten mile trek around the beautiful Hornchurch Country Park. The park is approximately 257 acres in size and home to the Ingrebourne River and marshes. Awarded gold for Country Park of the year and overall winner of The London in Bloom 2019.

Meeting Points: Feel free to meet us either outside Hornchurch Station from 10:30. We will depart by foot to Hornchurch Country Park at 10:45 prompt.Or, if you are driving, please meet us at Hornchurch Country Park. Free parking is available on site.There is a car park at Squadrons Approach.

The meeting point when in the Country Park is the Ingrebourne Nature Discovery Centre at 11:15. Please note, this is the only toilet facility when on the trek.

Food Plan: To either stop for a picnic in a scenic spot near the end of the walk, or to go to a very nice restaurant. This will be confirmed nearer the time.

Difficulty Level: Medium at a fast pace

Time: Should take about 4 hours of actual walking. There will be stops on the way to take take in the scenery, take photos etc.

Things to bring: Good footwear (trail running trainers or hiking shoes, waterproof jacket (just in case), water (at least 1 litre) and snacks.
