Felting Workshop with Aysha Yilmaz

Join for a creative session with Aysha on DRY FELTING!

Hello from Bolton! Join Aysha Yilmaz, an artist from Bolton, in a special felting workshop, which will explore how wool can be used creatively.

You will make a 3D needlefelted object such as a flower, hive, or a bee, using coloured dyed wools and a felting needle.

Aysha will take you step by step in producing your own textile piece.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.

All materials included.

About Aysha

Aysha classes herself as a Multidisciplinary Artist/ Creative Practitioner as her

practice consists of Painting, Textiles and Mixed Media. She teaches Arts and Crafts to

different groups ( Age Friendly , Womens Groups, Children, Families). The workshops she

teaches are mainly textile based such as Silk painting, Felting and Mixed Media. Her work is

mainly Nature inspired. She has taught in many Primary schools as an Artist in Schools. She

currently teaches regularly at the Whitworth Art Gallery on their Handmade programme and

is a regular artist for UnityArts Manchester. She is on the Whitworth Art Gallery’s Advisory

Group.
