QIMAM Outdoor Adventures invites you to the beautiful hike up Parkhouse Hill in the Peak District. Known as ‘The Dragon’s back of The Peak District’, Parkhouse Hill and its neighbour, Chrome Hill, are designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest due to their limestone flora and ancient fossils.

The Walk
Difficulty Level: Moderate – with some steep climbs.
The Area: This location in the Peak District ; Parkhouse Hill is a small but distinctive hill in the Peak District National Park of the Hartington Middle Quarter civil parish, in the English county of Derbyshire. It lies on the north side of the River Dove, close to the border with Staffordshire.
The route is 20km long and you should expect to finish by 7pm.
Equipment List:
Hiking boots with ankle support recommended, rucksack, waterproof jacket & trousers, warm layers, water bottle & packed lunch. A full list will be sent on registration.
