About this event
Embracing Autism: A Special Day at Balham Mosque
We warmly invite autistic children and their families to join us for a day of connection and understanding. Our aim is to foster a deeper bond between these special children, their parents, and the broader Muslim community. Here’s what we have planned:
Guided Mosque Tour: Experience the serenity and beauty of our mosque with a tour tailored for our young guests.
Low-Volume Azaan: A gentle call to prayer, ensuring a comfortable environment for sensitive ears.
Introduction to the Five Pillars of Islam: A simple and engaging overview of the core beliefs of our faith.
Designated Quiet Area: A peaceful space for relaxation and reflection, ensuring everyone feels at ease.
Arts and Crafts: Let the children’s creativity shine with Islamic-themed crafts.
Refreshments: Enjoy some delightful treats and beverages as we come together in fellowship.
To ensure a serene and comfortable environment for our young attendees, we have intentionally limited the number of spaces available. This is to make certain that the children have ample space and do not feel overwhelmed during the event.
Each family is kindly requested to reserve a maximum of 5 tickets.
