Win Hill, Peak District
About This Event
9.5km | Approx. 5 hours | Highest Point: 462m | Elevation Gain: ~335m
Grade: Easy
Join Muslim Hikers for a beautiful winter walk to Win Hill, one of the Peak District's most rewarding viewpoints, overlooking the spectacular Hope Valley.
Starting from the village of Hope, we'll make our way through the surrounding countryside towards Win Hill, enjoying a mix of scenic trails, rolling landscapes and sweeping views across the Peak District National Park.
At 462 metres, Win Hill offers fantastic panoramic views towards Ladybower Reservoir, the Hope Valley and the surrounding hills. It's a wonderful place to pause, appreciate the landscape and enjoy the company of fellow hikers before continuing our walk.
While this hike is graded Easy, participants should be comfortable walking 9.5km over approximately five hours, including uphill sections, uneven paths and potentially muddy or slippery terrain. As we're hiking in January, winter weather and ground conditions may add to the challenge, so appropriate footwear and warm, waterproof clothing are essential.
As always, our hikes are fully guided, inclusive and open to anyone looking to experience the outdoors in a welcoming and supportive environment.
