Join us on our 4-week journey through the stories of these extraordinary Muslim women of the past: Bilqees, Khawla, Aisha and Atika (rh)

Have you heard the stories of the Muslim woman who narrated thousands of ahadith? Who questioned the Prophet ? and were answered through revelation? Who led nations with grace?

Join us as Dr Sofia Rehman, a beloved teacher and the author of The Treasury of Aisha, spends four weeks deriving key lessons from the stories of: Bilqees, Khawla, Atikah and Aisha (rh).

These women, by today's standards, may have their agency questioned. Yet their lives offer powerful and comforting examples of what it means to hold firmly to our faith and live with purpose. If you’ve ever been told that you don’t fit the archetype of a Muslim woman, this course is for you. Through the stories of these women, we hope to showcase the breadth and diversity of Muslim womanhood, highlighting how each of them contributed in unique ways and embodied Islam with authenticity, conviction and character.

Spanning across multiple character types, these stories show us how there is no singular way to show up on the path to loving Allah and His Messenger ?.

Dr Sofia Rehman has devoted nearly two decades to studying Islam, travelling from Damascus to Istanbul, in pursuit of knowledge. She holds a PhD in Islamic Theology from the University of Leeds and a BSc in Business Management at King's College. She furthered her Islamic studies spanning Arabic, traditional Islamic sciences including Shafi'i and Hanafi fiqh (jurisprudence), Usul al-Quran, Mustalah al-Hadith, tafsir, tasawwuf, tajwid and more. Dr Sofia's research interests include ahadith studies and Quranic exegesis for marginalised communities.
