This is widely considered the
most challenging and steepest route
up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), offering a tougher test than our annual Llanberis Path hike, and some of the
most stunning scenery in all of Snowdonia
.
From cascading waterfalls and wooded trails to panoramic mountain views, this is a truly rewarding climb for hikers ready to take on something more ambitious. You’ll be supported throughout by qualified guides and surrounded by a welcoming community.
If you’ve done Snowdon before and want to try something new, this is for you.
THE WALK

Parking: Pay and display (arrive early as spaces are limited)
Walk distance: 8 miles (13km)
Duration: 7–8 hours (approx.)
Total elevation gain: 1,030m
Difficulty level: Challenging
This is a demanding hike with steep ascents and exposed sections near the top. A good level of fitness and some mountain walking experience is strongly recommended.
After a group briefing, we will begin the hike at 08:30 sharp. Expect to complete the hike by approximately 16:30.
KIT LIST
Hiking boots with ankle support recommended, rucksack, waterproof jacket & trousers, extra layers, water bottle & packed lunch. You will be sent a full kit list via email.
