MIAHxNightWatch: Mughal Flower Painting Workshop

We're collaborating with NightWatch and Nature in Sacred Places (NiSP) to bring you our most celebrated workshop for FREE! Not only is the workshop free, but a light lunch will also be provided, so book ASAP!
The Mughals were fascinated by flora and fauna, and decorated the margins of their manuscripts with naturalistic depictions of birds, plants, and flowers.
This workshop was inspired by these Mughal manuscript designs. During the session, you'll first hear from both MIAH and NightWatch about our work, and learn about the flower drawings found in Mughal manuscripts. You'll then trace, draw, and paint your own flower pattern onto card in the style of 17th century Mughal India.
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 11+ of all ability levels. All materials are provided.

Tickets for this session are free.
To ensure as many groups can take part as possible, each booking is limited to four tickets. As such, we may cancel your tickets if you book multiple times. Additionally, to ensure that all those who book attend the workshop, an email will be sent out to ticketholders asking for confirmation of attendance on Tuesday 22 September 2026. If attendance is not confirmed by 10am on Thursday 24 September 2026, we may release your ticket(s) to our waiting list.
As such, if you are unable to acquire tickets, please add yourself to the waitlist, as it is very likely more tickets will be released shortly.
