The desire for companionship, love and a marriage built upon deen is a natural one. Yet, the journey towards it can be filled with emotions, expectations and difficult decisions we may not always feel prepared for. From the pressures of waiting and the fear of being left behind, to heartbreak, uncertainty and the temptation to settle,
the journey can test more than just our patience -
It can test our trust in Allah.
Through honest discussions, real-life case studies and Islamic guidance,
WRITTEN FOR YOU
explores what it means to seek with purpose, choose with wisdom and trust Allah with the outcome. We'll unpack the realities of seeking marriage, the importance of protecting our hearts and upholding our deen, and how to navigate difficult choices without allowing fear, loneliness or societal pressures to lead us away from what truly matters.
WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE:
The pressure of waiting:
Loneliness, comparison, family expectations, the biological clock and fear of being left behind.
Protecting your heart:
Emotional attachment, boundaries, avoiding haram and navigating attraction to married men.
Choosing wisely:
Red flags, compatibility, unrealistic expectations and the danger of settling out of fear.
Second wives & secret marriages:
Islamic responsibilities, rights, transparency and the realities behind these arrangements.
Preparing for nikāh:
The marriage process, spousal rights and responsibilities, and the realities of married life.
Heartbreak & disappointment:
Rejection, broken trust, healing and navigating the journey towards remarriage.
Returning to Allah:
Understanding qadr, strengthening tawakkul and learning to seek, choose and trust without trying to control the outcome.
SEMINAR OBJECTIVES
By the end of this seminar, sisters will be better equipped to:
Recognise the emotional pressures influencing their decisions.
Make informed choices while upholding Islamic boundaries.
Identify unhealthy patterns, warning signs and fear-driven decisions.
Understand the importance of preparation, compatibility and responsibility before nikāh.
Navigate disappointment with greater emotional and spiritual resilience.
Strengthen their tawakkul and relationship with Allah through every stage of the journey.
This is not a sugar-coated conversation about marriage.
It is an honest exploration of the realities, vulnerabilities and difficult choices sisters may face, grounded in Islamic principles, personal accountability and reliance upon Allah.
Seek with purpose. Choose with wisdom. Trust Allah with the outcome.
