Jan 13th National March for Palestine – Transport from Portsmouth
The Hard, Portsmouth, UK
Description
FREE PALESTINE ∥ STOP ARMING ISRAEL
About this event
On December 8th our government abstained in the vote in the United Nations Security Council on the resolution for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. Britain continues to supply Israel with weapons and military intelligence, and there is a strong suspicion that British soldiers are on the ground in Gaza, actively helping the Israelis.
This is despite the Israeli government’s clearly expressed intent to commit ethnic cleansing and genocide, unambiguous proof that Israel has perpetrated multiple war crimes, and a civilian death toll in Gaza that is fast approaching 1% of the entire population.
We will not forgive or forget. Our rulers will pay a price for their complicity in Israel’s crimes.
But for now, all we can do is to get out onto the streets, make our voices heard, and demonstrate our opposition to these shameful actions.
Join in London on Saturday January 13th and show the world that the government does not act with our consent.
