The Qari Tour – Qari Essa Alenizy

Renowned Kuwaiti reader, Qari Essa Alenizy, is back for another year at our annual Qari tour!

As well as serving as an imam at the Grand Mosque leading Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers in Kuwait, Qari Essa holds an ijazah in Qur’anic recitation from Madina and an Ijazah in Hadith studies. He has participated in leading prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.

At the age of 8, he memorised the Qur’an at the age and has been awarded the first reader’s prize in Kuwait for three consecutive years!

Qari Essa Alenizy has also collaborated with Islamic Relief Foundation for six consecutive years, leading congregational prayers during Taraweeh and Qiyam and participating in charity fundraising conferences across the United Kingdom. We’re excited to invite him back for another year!
