About this event

The Forgotten Pillar of the Deen: The Role of Visions, Khushu and Ihsaan

Spirituality, dreams, and inner experiences are often misunderstood or seen as outside the core of Islam. As focus grows on rules and debates, many Muslims are left wondering if there is still space in our tradition for deeper presence in prayer, sacred visions, and spiritual connection. At the same time, the desire to feel closer to Allah ﷻ is growing.

Can we truly experience closeness to Allah ﷻ through things like khushu, visions, and inner transformation? And how do these fit within the broader Islamic tradition?

✨ Join as we bring clarity to these often-misunderstood topics and explore how the inner dimensions of Islam can be understood, embraced, and lived.

 What You’ll Takeaway:

  • A clear understanding of how visions, dreams, and spiritual experiences are treated in Islamic tradition using authentic sources
  • Insight into how the early generations approached inner states, presence in worship, and divine connection.
  • A safe, grounded framework to understand and explore esoteric experiences without confusion or fear.
  • Practical methods to build khushu and deepen your presence with Allah ﷻ in daily prayer.
  • A fresh understanding of Ihsaan as an essential part of Islam – not a luxury or afterthought, but a goal to strive for.

‍♂️ Who Should Attend:

  • Students and Seekers: Anyone unsure or confused about the legitimacy of spiritual experiences in Islam.
  • Practicing Muslims: Those looking to deepen their connection with Allah ﷻ, and bring more presence, sweetness, and focus into their prayers.
  • Educators, Community Leaders, and Imams: Individuals who wish to help revive the tradition of Ihsaan within their communities.
  • Those with Spiritual Experiences: If you’ve had visions, dreams, or inspirations and seek guidance on how to understand and integrate these experiences within the Islamic framework.
