The Big Iftar 2024: Celebrating Ramadan in Barnet

Join at Middlesex University London for this year’s Big Iftar celebration.

The Big Iftar is an annual event that takes place during the month of Ramadan. It is a community-led initiative that brings people from different backgrounds and faiths together to share food and conversation. The goal of The Big Iftar is to promote community cohesion, understanding, and solidarity.

On the evening we will hear from The Big Iftar movement’s founder, Julie Siddiqi MBE and other guest speakers, plus Exiled Writers Inc. interfaith poetry. The event will also feature performances from Barnet Hill Academy Choir.

The event is open to everyone in Barnet, regardless of their faith or background, and is organised by Middlesex University Inter Faith Network, Barnet Council and Barnet Multi Faith Forum.
