We are pleased to invite you to attend the 2024 Shimmering Lights Mawlid Gathering

A blessed evening of Qasaaid, Nasheeds, Naats, Qawalli and Drumming with special guests Sister Umm al-Khair BREEZES OF THE ELECT and Sister Robina Din Mystic Beats

BREEZES OF THE ELECT is a new collection of classical qaṣā’id, finely translated and beautifully designed compilation by Sister Umm al-Khair who will be reciting from the book at the Gathering.

Recitations in English, Arabic and Urdu

Speakers including Ustada Tayyiba and Ustadha Doaa

(Boys under the age of 10 can attend)

What time does the event start ?

Doors open at 6.30pm and the event will start promptly at 7.00pm, please arrive early to ensure that you have a place to sit.

is this a mixed event ?

The event is for women and girls, boys under the age of ten can attend if accompanied by mother or female guardian.

Is there local parking ?

The venue is located in a residential area, on street parking is available, please come early to find a suitable parking space, please keep noise to a minimum and park the car correctly.

Is there a cost to attend the event ?

No money, only your love and participation 🙂
