The practice of Archery is one of rich discipline, introspection and stillness. The benefits of these sports are self-discipline and ennoblement as well as a noble social pastime and regimen of fitness and alertness.

It is with the noble intent of following the example of the Chosen one (peace be upon him) that such sessions have been instituted and as such demand dignified and respectful participation. All teachers and peers MUST be respected, with full adherence to rules and guidelines.

Unique lessons teaching the art of Thumbdraw archery – the form of traditional archery practised by much of our Islamic civilisation over the centuries to the Islamic armies of the past.

Classes will include:

1. History of Sacred Archery

2. Safety and Archery

3. Practising Good form

4. Shooting with precision

5. Anatomy of Bows and Arrows

Schedule

Classes will be held each Saturday for six weeks from 14:00 to 14:45 on.

Instructors

Osswa Archery instructors are DBS cleared with many years experience competing and instructing. All hold a minimum level 1 coaching from Archery GB.

Safety Adherence

Safety protocols must be adhered to at all times. Children who breaks these protocols again and again will forfeit their attendance.

Horseplay, unsavoury behaviour or poor language will not be tolerated.

Ages – Boys and Girls, 7yrs-13yrs.

Fees – £60 for six sessions over six weeks – all materials and equipment included. No part payments can be made.
