Come, enjoy and experience a day in Ramadhan with the Wanderlust Women in the Heart of Lake district.

Ramadhan in the Lake District

Join for a unique Ramadan Interfaith Day in the picturesque Lake District, where Muslims and non-Muslims alike come together to celebrate and understand Ramadan. This inclusive event welcomes everyone to partake in the spirit of community, compassion, and cultural exchange.

Iftar will take place against a breathtaking lake view backdrop, where exceptional service and beautiful dishes meet to create an unforgettable dining experience. Three course meal provided.

This Ramadhan The Wanderlust Women are working together with MATW Project, we are dedicated to making a lasting impact to those in need. With each ticket purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity for Palestine, supporting a noble cause and making a positive impact on those in need. All welcome come along and bring your families!

What’s the itinerary?

We will start our day with guests arriving promptly by 12.45pm at the heart of the Lake District, followed by:

13:00pm– Introductions and talk by Amira on Ramadhan and fasting

13:30pm – prayers, meditation + dhikr session (this will be in the gardens if the weather is in our favour, otherwise, in the learning zone room)

14:00pm – a short walk to garden and lake

15:00pm – free time to partake in activites around the park (Archery and other activities can be booked online between 15:00 – 16:00 ) https://www.brockhole.co.uk/activities/

16:00 pm – Prayers

16:30pm – 17:45pm – Art class by Aysha – Palestinian embroidery workshop

BREAK

18:00pm – Dhikr and dua by the lake

18:30 pm – Iftaar ( opening of the fast) , we will open the fast with dates and water, and after magrib prayers enjoy our meal

All food will be halal. We will send a form prior to the event to ask for any dietry requirements.

20:30pm – QnA and goodbyes

What you will need to bring:

  • Suitable shoes (trainers)
  • Waterproofs (in case of rain)
  • Personal medication
  • Prayer mats
  • Warm layers for the evening
  • Something to sit on

Once booked, our team will reach out with a form to fill out and return to us as soon as possible.
