Muslim Women’s only Bouldering session at Euston London

Hi everyone,

Eustonwall is a newly opened wall with lots of fun climbing routes!

You don’t need upper body strength to climb!!!

Timings:

• The plan is to meet at the centre for 6:40pm as we still start at 7pm!!
• Climb until 8:30pm-9pm.

Cost:

• Peak concession cost £13 with Shoe hire and registration fee is included in the entry price (normally £20.20). You pay at the centre on the day.
• There is funding available for people who need financial support. Please send ClimbMuz a message.
• The climbing centre is open to the public. We will be sharing the space with other climbers.
• These session will be run by our lovely volunteer facilitators Asma and Shareena.

The session:

The session is aimed at everyone from beginner to more experienced climbers everyone is welcome.

Session for beginner climbers:

• We will do a warm up
• Learn how to fall properly
• Route demonstration
• There will be lots of support available
• Things to do before the session:

Register online and watch the bouldering video. You will be asked questions to see if you have understood the safety instructions. Click here

Clothing:

Please come dressed in gym/workout clothing

jilbab/ abaya’s need to be at a suitable length so your foot does not get caught whilst climbing!

Things to note:

• There are private changing/shower rooms available but you will have to walk through the communal changing area to access.
• Bottle of water
• Padlock for the lockers
• One sign up per person
• Only sign up if you are able to make the session.
• Group pictures and videos will be taken.

Terms and Conditions:

• A £1 fee is charged to cover the cost of no shows and will be non-refundable if you come to the event.
• ClimbMuz does not make any money from running these events and everything goes towards supporting the community.
• Please contact ClimbMuz separately if finances are a barrier.
• Eventbrite charges an admin fee
• Please remember to bring a padlock.
• Please do not wear rings when climbing and be mindful of any other jewellery that you do wear.
• ClimbMuz does not take any responsibility for your belongings and any injuries that may occur during the session. You are responsible for keeping yourself safe.
• Only sign up for yourself as a list of names is given to the climbing wall. Double sign ups will not be refunded.
