What is the age group?
Female tickets: 29-37 years and Male Tickets 32 – 40 years. The age difference between male & female tickets has been developed based on feedback from attendees at previous events. Typically, males are looking for women who are younger, and females are looking for older men.
Who is the Event For?
UK nationals only. All ethnicities, cultures, and practicing levels are welcome, as long as you are Muslim. Our event is open to divorced, widowed, and single Muslims, but is strictly not for people looking for a polygamous partner. Attendees are all genuinely searching for a partner for marriage.
Fees:
If you would like to book the event but would not want to pay the Eventbrite fee, please email/message us for direct payment.
Our Priority:
Our priority is YOU! We understand that you may feel nervous speaking to someone new, but we aim to make the entire experience as comfortable and straightforward as possible in sha Allah. We have our own experience with marriage events and we understand how difficult it is to find the right partner in today’s society. As organizers, we have set up the perfect event to introduce like-minded people who are ready for marriage.
Event Structure:
The event is based on one-to-one conversations, each individual has equal opportunity to connect with each person of the opposite gender. Strictly no awkward group tables at our events! After spending 5 minutes speaking to each other, females will remain seated and the males will move on to the next table.
There will be a break halfway through the event where you are welcome to indulge in our refreshments table. We will be providing complimentary mocktails, desserts, and light food.
After the break, the rotations will continue. We advise attendees to express their liking to other singles if they feel a connection. However, we can understand that this may be daunting for some, so our organizers are happy to advocate on your behalf and express your interest if you need us to.
Once the rotations are completed, we have a designated time frame for those who feel a connection that they would like to explore further. This gives the opportunity to speak a little more and decide whether you would like to exchange contact information and in sha Allah it will be the start of a beautiful journey to marriage.
How long is the event?
The event is anticipated to last between 3-4 hours.
Is there parking available?
Yes, we have plenty of car parking spaces available (free). Additionally, there will be a parking attendant to guide you upon arrival.
Can I bring a chaperone/ parent?
Yes! We are happy for you to bring one chaperone and we do encourage their attendance, whether it be a friend, parent, or relative. To inform us there will be a chaperone attending along with you, please select ‘Ad ons’ when you purchase the tickets.
Chaperones will be made to feel welcome, they will be provided with a comfortable seating area within the same room as the event. Complimentary refreshments and snacks are at their disposal. This is a great opportunity for chaperones to socialize with others who have single children/friends/family members.
