Muslim Hikers: Chrome Hill A mid week escape to the Peak District

Getting tired of weekend hikes? Well, here’s another mid week hike! Book a day off work, and escape in to the Peak District National Park for a hike up Chrome Hill (425m) and Parkhouse Hill (360m)

These are two iconic hills that are considered a must-see when you’re planning to explore the Peak District National Park.

This walk is a good mixture of trails, fields and ridges with some stunning views of the surrounding area and beyond. These limestone hills have an interesting history and a unique phenomenon occurs here during the summer months which adds to their charm.

This is a fantastic chance to meet likeminded hikers & adventurers from across the country and enjoy a scenic social trek as part of a professionally organised event with qualified mountain guides.

All are welcome regardless of religious background or ability. Whether you’re a seasoned mountaineer or a first time walker, we invite you to join us.

THE WALKDate: 12/7/23

Time: Meet 10:00, Trek starts 10.30am

Location: The Quite Woman, SK17 0BU

Car Parking: Street Parking, SK17 0BU

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY – (Car parking may be limited so it’s important to arrive on time to find alternative parking if needed)

Walk distance/Duration:

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate/Challenging – come prepared for a hike with some incline. As always, being physically trained will help you enjoy the experience more.

The route is approximately 6 miles and it is expected to take the group 4-5 hours to complete at a casual pace.

After a short briefing, we shall start the trek at 10.30am sharp.

You should expect to complete the hike by 3.30pm

KIT LISTHiking boots with ankle support recommended, rucksack, waterproof jacket & trousers, extra layers, water bottle & packed lunch. You will be sent a full kit list via email.

YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:– A guided hike, led by professional mountain guides

– Tickets are non transferable and non refundable

– Please note professional photography & videography may be in place. Content may be shared by ourselves and third parties for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know on the day of the trek.
