The Kirklees Suicide Memorial & Bereavement Quilts Roadshow June 2023

The quilts are touring across Kirklees throughout June with the aim of reducing suicide and mental health stigma. By raising awareness, we hope to promote mental health wellbeing, access to support & connect communities affected by bereavement.

10:30-12:00 Domestic Abuse Workshop – DACET

12:00-13:30 Stalls/Networking/Refreshments

13:30-15:30 Faith and Mental Health/Suicide – Kaushar Tai – Aksaa

16:00-18:00 Older People Isolation/Befriending/Social Connection – YCC Anchor Service

09:00-11:00 Quilt Tour for Schools

11:00-12:00 South Asian Women Support – Sky Positive Mind

12:00-13:00 Networking/Refreshments

13:00-15:00 Mental Health for You Training – Kirklees Wellness Team

15:15-16:30 Stress Taster Workshop – Talking Therapies (IAPT)

The University of Huddersfield Health & Wellbeing Clinic will be on site to deliver health checks to participants on the 19th June.

Mental health support be at hand if required.
