Bridging Cities, Pedal by Pedal
Join #TeamMC in our autumn adventure cycling from London to Cambridge. Ride the 60-mile route as an individual, with a friend or as one big team. However you ride, it won’t be alone!
This event takes you from city to city, passing through the beautiful countryside. Riding over the finish line to cheering supporters, you’ll continue the celebrations over a celebratory meal. What better way to complete this challenge than with like-minded sisters who will push, challenge and inspire you?
FREE Bike Health Check:
Before any service or repair, we’ll check your bike for free. This includes checking for wear, damage and ensuring your bike is safe. (If we spot a problem that requires a service or repair that you would like us to fix, we can book your bike at TEAMMC CYCLES so it can be repaired by a fully qualified mechanic).
In aid of supporting women’s livelihoods projects
We help vulnerable families in Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Gaza and Yemen establish their own small businesses based on their skills and local context.
In this way, we help families create reliable income in the long term. We focus on supporting women with orphan children or disabled family members who are often neglected or marginalised.
When we help families establish a sustainable income, we help ensure more children are going to school rather than working on the streets, that everyone is eating a wholesome and nutritious diet, and that the family have access to good quality medical care should they need it.
By boosting the regular income of a family, they no longer have to rely on others for support, and we see a drastic rise in their living conditions, which has enormous long-term implications for everyone. Entire communities flourish, and we help people feel in control, strong and empowered.
