Leicester College’s Big Iftaar

Iftaar is a meal served at sunset during Ramadan to break the day’s fast. Free Iftaar meals will be served from when the fast breaks at our Abbey Park Campus. Before the Iftaar, there will be a talk from Shaykh Shafi from City Retreat. There will also be a good opportunity for attendees to meet new people and network with each other all while exploring a different culture.

This special event brings students, staff, and the local community together to celebrate Ramadan and foster a sense of community harmony.

Don’t forget your prayer mats – there will be a congregation for Maghrib salah for both men and women after the talk. To keep everyone safe and protected, we are asking those who are attending and will be taking part in prayer to bring their own prayer mats.
