Taught by Dr Alvi and Dr Mughal, GPs and Lifestyle Medicine Practitioners with over a decade of experience treating patients.
Lifestyle medicine is an approach that uses evidence based behavioural changes to prevent, treat and manage chronic disease. There are 6 pillars of focus which include nutrition, movement, sleep, developing positive connections, reducing harmful substances and risky behaviours and mental health. By addressing these pillars our programme promotes health and wellbeing and with it integrates the teachings of Quran and Sunnah. We look at empowering individuals to make positive lifestyle choices based on our Islamic values.
