About this event

Islam provides the foundation for a confident individual and collective identity. It encourages people to polish their inner and outer qualities. A Muslim is defined by his character. A true leader is the one who is loved by people.

In this 10 day Muslim Youth Leadership Course you will learn how to refine your conscienc, build your confidence, invest in your courage and practice compassion.

You will learn from the Islamic traditions, contemporary leadership sciences, historic and current leader rolemodels and practical wisdom.

You will work in groups, learn from your peers and develop the deeper knowledge and understanding base as well as the skills to be an effective leader.

Can anyone attend?

This is a specific leadership course designed for young Muslims aged between 16-21.

Is it for boys and girls?

Yes, this is a course for boys and girls and it will be run under the full supervision of adult trainers, parents and volunteers.

Is it a religious programme?

All programmes are based on the teachings drawn from the Qur’an and Sunnah and hundreds of years of islamic scholarship.

Do the participants need to have deep knowledge of the topic or related subject?

No previous knowledge is required, however, willingness to learn and preparedness to engage with others are essential.

Do you need to commit to attending the whole course?

Yes, ideally you should attend the whole course but if you have a prior engagement or have an emergency, please notify the organisers as soon as possible. You may be able to catch up on the missed lessons.
