Healing Circle & Dua’a for Gaza

During times of hardship, it’s crucial to strengthen our bond with our faith and Allah. This workshop is designed to aid in our recovery and foster connections among us, allowing us to discover a sense of community.

The initial portion will be dedicated to uniting as a group, addressing our shared feelings of powerlessness and guilt, and brainstorming ways to direct these emotions into supporting our brothers and sisters in Gaza. The latter part of the session will feature a spiritual discourse by Dr. Jinan Yousef, reminding us of the significance of faith, submission (tawakol), and prayer (dua’a) amidst these challenging circumstances.

This workshop will be in English (with option of contributing in Arabic) and Dua’a will be in Arabic.

Dr. Jinan Yousef has been an author for over a decade, and most recently published the book, “Reflecting on the Names of Allah” (Al-Buruj Press, 2020). She has been a student of Sheikh Akram Nadwi for many years, and currently studies tafsir and hadith at Al-Salam Institute. Jinan teaches classes on the names of Allah for SWISS online. She is passionate about helping Muslims connect to Allah through knowing Him by His names.
