About this event
Come and join for a Creative Supper Fundraiser for Medical Aid Palestine. Come and experience beautiful Palestinian culture with Tatreez and flag making taster workshops; the opportunity to purchase original artworks, prints & products.
If you have questions, information and what’s happening in Palestine and value connecting with other like minded, humanitarian individuals about the current situation, you’re invited to dine and connect with us! Whether you bring a friend or rock up solo, you’ll be showing solidarity with the Palestinian people. The event is run solely by volunteers from Watermelon Creatives North West UK who are passionate and donate their time, artwork and efforts.
Supper from 6pm onwards. For any specific dietary requirements or allergens, items will be labelled simply by Halal, vegan, vegetarian etc. As this event is solely organised by volunteers we cannot accommodate for specific allergens or dietary requirements.
6pm-6:30pm Arrival, supper and networking at Jolly Josh.
7pm – information and talks
7.15pm -8pm Tatreez taster workshop with experienced Art wellbeing practitioner, flag making workshop with textiles with artist.

This event is non-refundable, once purchased, as it is a fundraiser for Medical Aid Palestine.If you are unable to attend, please contact the organiser via eventbrite, and cancel your ticket as well. This is a community fundraiser and although it is led by volunteers, all participants are responsible for their own safety.
The participant accepts and assumes all risks and is fully responsible for their actions whilst attending the event. The organiser accepts no responsibility for the actions of the participant nor the consequences of such action.
Please also remember that some organisers and participants are majority People of Colour, some Muslim women from various backgrounds who come together to create safe space in the arts. The aim is to encourage donations and engage in the arts & activism through creativity within Greater Manchester.
