The term “Al Quds” is an Arabic name that refers to the City of Jerusalem. In Arabic, “Al Quds” (القدس) literally translates to “The Holy.” It is a name often used to symbolize the historical, cultural, and religious significance of Jerusalem in the Middle East, particularly in the context of the Middle East conflict and the city’s importance to multiple faiths, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

In the heart of Jerusalem, where history and faith converge, the idea for the Al Quds Conference was born. Established as a beacon of hope in a region often marked by tensions. Its founder, Imam Qasim Rashid Ahmad envisioned a platform where diverse faiths could come together to share, learn, understand, promote tolerance, and strengthen the bonds that connect us all.
