About Hassan Jivraj

Hassan Jivraj is a London-based writer, editor and journalist. Over the past decade he has written on topics including Islamic finance, Middle Eastern bond and loan markets, foreign direct investment, venture capital and macroeconomics. He has written for several outlets including GlobalCapital, Debtwire, REDD Intelligence, Investment Monitor and Salaam Gateway.

He is also the creator and host of Majlis & Markets, a podcast interviewing influential leaders in Islamic and global markets. Past guests include the former deputy finance minister of Uzbekistan, the former IMF chief economist to Saudi Arabia and a CEO of a GCC-based investment bank.
